BANQUISE descend into darker ground with EDEN, a single about the kind of love that feels like salvation and works like a curse. Where TSUNAMI turned the storm inward, EDEN follows what happens when the undertow has a name and a face, when the thing pulling you under is also the only thing you want to hold on to.
Built on dramatic modern metal, EDEN pairs a chorus made to be screamed back with verses that sink a little deeper with every line. A deal struck with the Devil, a soul sold for two, a garden where she is the snake and he is the bite. The song reaches for myth and scripture not as decoration, but because some attachments are too old and too heavy to be described any other way.

If TSUNAMI was the question whispered to the ceiling at four in the morning, EDEN is the answer nobody wanted to hear. The narrator is not fooled. They know exactly what this is, they call it a curse, and they admit they would dive back in anyway. That lucidity is where BANQUISE keep their poetry: the band has always believed there is hope even in the middle of the flames, and here it takes its most uncomfortable form, the clarity of someone who sees the fire and walks in regardless.
